Collection: Ages of Youth//the Halleaux
Chronicled by: Ghasty Ren was running through the halls of Roanoke Base, checking in every door he passed to see whether Petra was there or not. He was running out of one room when he bumped into Alexa on accident. Alexa happened to be carrying a key ring, which she dropped when Ren bumped into her. The rings hit the floor, making a great clamour which quickly echoed through the halls. Collection: Age of Youth // the Halleaux
Chronicled by: Ghasty Three people in their twenties stood facing a man wearing a commander’s Authority uniform. The person on the left had tanned skin, long black hair partly covered by a beanie, and brown eyes whose color almost bordered on black. She wore a black version of the Authority uniform with a pair of welding goggles around her neck. A rifle was holstered on her back and an Apache pistol was holstered on her left side. Chronicled by: Valhel The heavy doors of the forlorn chapel crept open as the grim gathering of the Watchers broke their fellowship. Silently they placed masks over their faces and forgoing farewells the ghostly host departed into the the night. An unearthly darkness hung over the land, the shadows of night had been deformed somehow, a deceiving veil cloaked threats unseen that would otherwise be visible by torchlight. The Watchers slipped through these shadows back into the mist swept streets and alleyways of their village, the lamps along the way flickering as if in salute to them before they resumed the long vigil before dawn. Chronicled by: Ghasty Jehan stood looking over the chaos that was the backup generator in the Garage. He had already looked over the generator in the Lab. The only thing the Lab generator was good for now was scrap metal, and it seemed that the Garage generator was in the same predicament. Jehan heard a vehicle approaching and looked up. He recognized the vehicle as an Authority vehicle and held up his blunderbuss and pointed it at the vehicle. Collection: Ages of Youth, the Halleaux
Chronicled by Ghasty Lacea, Lukas, Mech, Xanthia, and the female doctor were escorted to a large building by the Authority Guards. Several guard towers were attached to the building. They entered the building and were split up. Lukas and Mech were escorted one way, and Lacea, Xanthia, and the doctor were escorted the other way. The three were lead to a gloomy cell. Collection: Knossos
Chronicled by Hyperion A chilled mist and a harrowing quiet had crept over the valley. Like clockwork, the sunlight vanished and the full effects of the night swept in, no more than an hour later. On occasion, the broken moon would slip a glance through the veiling clouds, shining for no more than a mere moment or so. Clouds were illuminated under its reflection and created ambient light suitable for minimal vision or activity on the nights where the mist was not over oppressive. Owls hooting, small waves lapping onto the posts Harken Fall sat upon, and a breeze whisking through the trees composed the chorus of the night. On all mentioned accounts, a surreal existence could be drawn from such a picture, but an unsettling darkness remained rooted in the valley. Collection: Knossos
Chronicled by: Hyperion Fifty years had passed since the last sighting. Time had mulled it into a lull of a legend, and it began approaching the realm of myth. Often case, at least a hundred or so years would need to pass for that to happen, but it would seem the people wanted to keep it as hush as it could be. History has a way of bending memory and truth together, regardless of their ability to truly coincide. However, whether public knowledge would become aware it’s movements or the cloud of the quiet would shroud it once more, the Iniquitous Tome had been turned once again, and the pages had begotten a lust from a newly ensnared reader. Its beauty and blood had enticed many before now, and would surely continue to do so. While clandestine, the Iniquitous Tome had begotten an entirely wretched wrath of its own, unique to that of any other of the Oracles of Balance. Countless hands held it, fingers had flipped through the pages, and eyes had dried in its grip, and every soul to be touched by its grandeur had been left marked, scarred, or shattered entirely. Fifty years had passed, yet now it seemed only yesterday since bridges burned and cities fell at its command. It seemed effortless how its grip had twisted readers into a submissive daze. Love or loss, the Iniquitous Tome left all its captives changed. Collection: the Halleaux/Age of Youth
Chronicled by Ghasty The boards that covered the doorway of the building in which Lacea, Lukas, Mech, Xanthia, and the two doctors lay shattered upon the floor. Before the group inside knew what was happening, a dozen or so Authority Guards burst into the building, guns drawn. Collection: Weird, Age of Youth
Chronicled by: Valhel Beneath the cold light of ancient stars and the silhouetted decay of tangled trees furled wisps of smoke that gave way to five silver eyes. She had opened a way, where once she thought she could never return she had done so. There had been promises that needed to be upheld, and tolls that needed to be paid. Collection: the Halleaux
Chronicled by Valhel Nightfires pt II of III As Ren made himself busy unearthing the treaders Mech stood surveying the dunes about them. The well drone lay in a mangled heap, and the threshold beacon in the distance shared a similar fate. Mech had hoped that the morning sun would grant him insight as to the nature of the monster that emerged from the dunes the previous night. In their retreat, Mech and Ren only caught a brief glimpse of the thing before ducking out of sight, the crackling tendrils of lightning and black legs that towered above the desert sand, and an odd pale glow. Now under the sun the monster's wake was clearly visible, but Mech only gained greater confusion from the scene. |
