Ren: Chapter 20, the Metal Pyramid
Collection: the Halleaux:AR Chronicled by: Ren the Metal Pyramid Ren’s sword rested on a stand atop Petra’s desk. It had been two days since his death and the whole army was feeling the shock. A man who had once seemed untouchable now rested in the unjust clutches of death. Then again Petra thought is the death of any one of these soldiers fair? She sat in the darkness of her office, the only light emitting from a small lamp that sat on her desk, providing just enough light to see to the edge. Her steepled fingers pressed against her lips as she pondered the Rebellion’s next move. Just for a minute she wished Ren was there. He would have known what to do. He would have known where to go, how to precede, how to move forward. She closed her eyes, deep in thought. She heard a rustle near the direction of the door. Collection: Ren
Chronicled by: Ren Petra sat at the table in Ren’s room, It had been two weeks since he had vanished and Petra hadn’t seen hide nor hair of him. His lab had been his means of escape, he had taken the five small orbs with him, along with the canisters of Vision. The door had been melted through using either acid or a high powered torch. Logan was nowhere to be found. In the bathroom they had found a bowl of red liquid, the same that Ren had used to draw on the wall with. It turned out to be dye made from the petals of a flower. Mira had been turned over to her people, where she was to be dealt with using “the law of the tribe”. Collection: Ren
Chronicled By: Ren Chapter 18 It had been three days. Petra had watched Ren through the security cameras for three days. The entire time he had sat in the chair she left him in. In the beginning he had been watching a video. Then about halfway through the first day he switched over to a single image and just stared at it. He stared at that image all day, everyday. Petra finally resigned that she needed to go talk to him. Collection: the Halleaux/Alternative Reality
Chronicled by: Ren The net morning Petra sat at the end of the table in the conference room. The table was ringed with Daphne, Mira, Mech, Marius, five of The Six including Altair (who was healing remarkably well), and Mech’s assistant Gabrielle. “Okay everybody’s here, we’re just waiting on Ren” Petra said As if on cue the door flew open with a bang and Ren swept inside dressed in his red armor, his cloak billowed behind him. “Shut the door” he growled at Marius Collection: Ren//Alternative Reality
Chronicled by Ren “Has anyone seen Ren?” Petra asked a group of passing soldiers“No, Ma’am” they said, shaking their heads “Great, he’s missing again” She said to herself “Petra!” Marius yelled Petra turned to see Marius running down the hallway after her. He was sweating and his hair was messed up, he rested his hands on his knees and huffed as he tried to catch his breath. “Have you seen Ren?” She asked Collection: Logan
Chronicled by: Ghasty & Logan Logan walked into the glowing cavern. Glowing fungi in varying hues lined the walls. Speleothems dotted the cavern’s floor and ceiling. A small pool of water stood at the end of the cavern. A throne-like stone jutted out of the center of the pool. Upon the stone sat a skeleton. The skeleton wore a crown and held a golden orb with Okkathian runes carved into it. Blue light emanated from the runes. Carved into the stone behind the skeleton’s head was an inscription. The inscription was written in an old and forgotten tongue. It said ‘Yahlim aor ovolix yopo deruztassein ahl dornos zo Regsailen Drellralf ehl Trezea!’ Collection: Logan
