Logan sat in the chair that a Ren had put him in to hold him hostage. Logan looked atthe walls around the room noticing that there are no windows only the the walls and the doors.
He jest sat there quietly for this little plan that Ren had planned, then Logan felt energy go to his
fingers. Logan then released his power core which was reestablishing a connection and putting
energy back to his movement. The mesh covering Logan’s esophagus and neck started to glow
the normal green with no signs of complications. The mesh changed to purple, Logan started to
scream and ripped off his bonds triggering the EMP under the chair. He withstood the blast this
time not collapsing to the charge of the EMP. A yellow blade formed at Logan’s side and he ran
to the door and slammed it into the ground vigorously. A wall of glass formed in front of the door
sealing it completely. The glass looked to be symmetrical, with the shape being made mostly
from cubes and the glass was reinforced with glass rods meshing the glass to create something
stronger than diamond, but it was not of this world. The sword vanished from where he had
slammed it and then slowly turned away from the sealed door. The chair was gone and a
woman stood in front of Logan with her back against a wall leaning. She stood up from leaning
on the wall, looking at logan behind a helmet. Her helmet was made of a carbon colored gold
with a black tint. The lower front half of the helmet is woven to create an intricate weave so
detailed that she can breathe through the helmet and still take a bullet to the mouth and live.
The rest of her armor is covered by a jet black cloak with a seal of a wolf on the front. Logan
stared at her with anger, for he knew this was a start to something bad.
She spoke back to the anger, “I am Delilah the exiled.”
Logan responded, “I know who you are you are, You are the girl from mission 00110001
00110000 00110010 , extraction. I slayed both your guard’s hunters, both nova core and Tier
Three class, IT TOOK TWENTY TIER TWO CLASS GUARDIANS! AND EVEN TO THAT I
LOST MY ARMS AND LEGS THAT DAY! And I still crawled into my fallen comrade’s guardian
and completed the fight with no mental link. I took you to the capital and received my reward of
NEW LIFE! That was the first of many fights that changed my body overtime. I can’t believe the
council thought you could change into something greater than a Hunter. THIS IS ALL YOUR
FAULT!” Logan Summoned the sword again and slammed it into the ground and ran forward.
As he dragged the sword as he ran it left a glass trail across the room. She grabbed a
detonation trigger from her cloak. She then pressed the button on it creating a massive void
behind her of nothing. Logan tried uppercutting her with the sword, but she whipped around him
and pushed him into the void.
She spoke as she pushed Logan into the void, “One Hundred ships made it out of the
star’s blast radius and only ten survived the trip to the next inhabitable planet. Only 600 Hunters
remain.”
Then she lunged him into the void and he felt his esophagus turning once more green as
the endless void created by Delilah started to close. She walked away from the closing door, out
of the void, and created a teleport to leave. Logan’s esophagus turned a bright red and his body
parts also started to turn. The light became so bright that it turned white, but eventually his body
burned up and turned to nothing because of the consumption. And as the dust floated farther
into the void, Logan’s eyes flashed to life back in his chair with the bonds still on and EMP still
not triggered.
Across the plains of existence is a falling man, Logan falls into the pits of Freehold and
back to the reality of the present. For where the second lands is up to fate itself. And fate is the
factor that starts a new story with another familiar face, for Logan is two in one story.
