Collection: Chronicles of Lormere, Submissions Chronicled by Ghasty In a secluded part of Vyjorst Forest sat a dilapidated cabin. It was a small one-room log cabin with a thatched roof. The cabin had a small door that barely stood, and could easily blow down at the slightest breeze. The thatched roof had large holes, which allowed copious amounts of rain to come in. The floor of the cabin was barren earth. Rotted and broken furniture was scattered throughout. An unopened crate sat in the corner. The cabin was known as Ahl Feuswo Abaziana. To the untrained eye, Ahl Feuswo Abaziana seemed uninhabited, but a closer look would reveal otherwise. The crate in the corner sat at a lower level than the rest of the room. A push of the crate reveals a hole in the ground. The hole contained a ladder which went deep underground. The ladder led to a large room carved out of stone. This room led into several other rooms. Most of the rooms were sleeping quarters. In the central room stood three familiar figures. These three figures were Zadimus, Diasdera, and Cyjovin.
"We have held up our end of the bargain. Now we need your help." Diasdera said to Zadimus. "We need you and your men to kill Queen Amelda. This will cause disorder throughout the kingdom, which will benefit your group. You will do this or you and your men will die. Do you understand?" Cyjovin explained. Zadimus was taken aback by this request. He had no desire to kill the queen, but he didn't want to see his men die. "I will gather my men. We will leave for Aberstwyth in the morning. I should expect us to get there in three days time. Then we will storm the palace and kill the queen," Zadimus said to them. "You will not need to travel. We will worry about the details," Cyjovin said. "Have your men ready two hours before dawn," Diasdera commanded. "I will have them ready. I need to attend to the planning. I bid you farewell," he said. Cyjovin and Diasdera turned towards the ladder and climbed up out of the underground room. They pushed the crate back over the hole and then they left. They stopped a few feet away to discuss their plan for the queen's death. "I need you to distract the palace guards. We can't have them notice us prematurely. Once the deed is done, leave the area. If you do that there will be no one to stop us," Cyjovin said. "What about Dyumlor? If he feels it isn't the right time for her death, he will intervene," Diasdera said. "He hasn't been seen for years. You're worrying over nothing," Cyjovin reassured her, "we can't stand around waiting, we need to visit Delumer soon. We need her help to bring about humanity's destruction." "How do you know she'll help us?" Diasdera asked. "I don't know that she will, but we will try to persuade her to help us," Cyjovin said,"we may as well leave now, though." Cyjovin paused to look around to make sure they weren't being watched. "Teupum navu oghad u ahl vitror zo Delumer!" Cyjovin yelled as he turned towards Diasdera. A blinding light enveloped the two. A few moments passed and the light receded revealing that they were gone. Comments are closed.
