Chapter 12

​ Antlousai and Toryna appeared upon the summit of Mount Joxynsa. Ahlogneir, Jaa, and Novaci had finished burying Edya when they looked up to see Antlousai and Toryna appear. Jaa was about to question the two when blinding light surrounded the five. The light dispersed and Meldontha stood in its place.

"Which of you four is Edya?" Meldontha asked, looking at the three revenants and Novaci.
"None of us," Jaa replied.
"Then where is she?" Meldontha asked. Jaa didn't answer with words, but with a gesture of a pointed finger to the grave to him. Antlousai, Meldontha, and Toryna understood.
"Why are you three here?" Novaci questioned.
"I, Toryna, the revenant of the Gorynxil, have come here with Antlousai, the revenant of flowers, for help to stop Diasdera, the revenant of the city of Lormere," Toryna answered.
"I, Meldontha, the revenant of the kingdom of Amarastia, have come for help stopping Diasdera and Cyjovin, the revenant of Vyjorst Forest," Meldontha responded.
"Diasdera and Cyjovin have turned to evil?" Jaa asked.
"You knew them?"
"My ward is Lake Xuwyhl, which is within Vyjorst Forest, which is within close proximity to Lormere. What evidence do you have of their turning?"
"Diasdera used my ward to murder the Lormerians," Toryna responded.
"Diasdera and Cyjovin are planning the death of Queen Amelda of Amarastia," Meldontha answered.
"Why did they do these things?" Jaa asked.
"Diasdera loathed humans," Toryna answered, "I'm guessing Cyjovin feels the same."
"We should help them," Novaci suggested to Jaa.
"Do you know when they are planning the queen's assassination?" Jaa asked Meldontha.
"Soon," Meldontha answered.
"We must act then. Can you transport us there?"
"Yes. Ieg navu teupumi u ahl avolait zo Regsailan Amelda zo Amarastia!" Meldontha chanted. A blinding light engulfed the six before receding, revealing that they were gone.
