Collection: Submissions//the Halleaux Chronicled by Tsayad The story of The Wolf is a short and vague one, but a meaningful one. There was once a boy with a name and past that did not really matter. He may have been pure, or arrogant, tall, short, or whatever comes to mind but that really did not matter. He has a name and life story but it lacks importance in the long run of his legacy. One thing was for sure; he was lost. He saw the world as evil, and imperfect but he was unsure if wanted to join it or fight it. So one night he was on a path that was dimly lit and clouded not sure where he was going. Out of nowhere the boy was attacked by a beast or pure rage but also fear. He was brutally beaten one stroke away from death until out of nowhere, an animal attacked it. The animal struggled but eventually reigned victorious over the beast. As the boy got up he saw the animal in the light. It was a wolf. At that moment, the boy’s decision was clear. He wanted to fight the world, combat injustice, bring peace, and bring hope. Seeing that animal reminded him of a hero that was similar and went by the same name. The hero saved those who didn’t deserve that second chance like the boy did and he brought hope and fought for what was just. As the world changed he did not. The hero had been long gone and almost forgotten. The boy decided to fill that mantle, carry that legacy, and be a symbol. He fashioned a suit and put his entire past behind him because that wasn’t who he was and it really did not matter. He made a vow to be something bigger than himself. He wanted to be the same thing that saved him. He put on the mask to his past and the suit to be that symbol. He is and carries on the Legacy of The Wolf.
