Collection: the Fall
Chronicled by Project 23
West walked down a dark and empty street. The road was made of stones, bricks, and whatever was available at the time. All the buildings were universally one size, they were all one story high.
Where the roofs are supposed to be is a big ceiling that acts as a roof for the whole city. Among the darkness is one dimly lit door. West walked up to the door and looked at the sign above the door, Pub. West groaned and whispered to himself, “I really hate bars, pubs, anything and everything……….” He knocks on the metal door, then a slit opened and an old man’s voice boomed out, “WHAT do you want, they are about to torch the streets. GET IN NOW!” He then closed the slit then threw the door open and grabbed West launched him onto the wood floor inside the establishment. And quickly closed the metal door, backed away from it, and waited patiently. Suddenly, a loud wind started howling and heat began radiating from the door, the door began to become a hot red. Soon the wind died and the heat subsided, after West finally unglued his eyes and looked at the establishment to find it's not a pub, but a theater.
People looking at him, some just started cleaning up music instruments, and some were just ignored him and kept reading lines to one another practicing for something. The old man spoke up in a violent tone.”Now what were you doing outside, when curfew was only seconds away?!” West was fazed from how quickly he was swept off his feet and yelled at. He could only respond in scattered thoughts. “Um, my name is West. Do you have a medkit? And isn't this a bar?” West accidentally flicks his foot, causing him to cringe in pain. The old man spoke quickly, “Let me look at that now”, the old man looked at his foot, then looked at his whole leg. “Boi, you fractured your foot, your kneecap is out of place, and managed to bruise your other leg completely.” As soon as he said that three girls came from the stage. The one in the middle of the group wore black jeans with a leather jacket, her attitude seemed stubborn or maybe even a bit dramatic. Another wore baggy green cargo pants with black military boots. Her shirt was a black muscle shirt, her forearms had tattoos of roses and snakes weaving together. She has a pair of sunglasses and a red headband to hold her long brown hair back. She seems to think she is in charge and walks a little ahead of the group. Finally there was a girl behind the other two; black hoodie and jeans, the jeans look like they belonged to the possibly dramatic one, maybe from the same store. Her hood is up so her face is mostly covered, but you can see her white headphones within the pit of darkness. She really seemed not to be interested with anything they were doing as a group. Then the possibly dramatic one pulled her very generic phone, very big screen, two cameras, one button at the bottom of the screen, no charging port, or headphone jack, with two axes on the back of as a logo. She stared at him for a little, then held the button down and waited. The phone turned into the back end of a minigun, but the barrels were missing.
Then a loud pop happened and West began to scream on the top of his lungs. “Boi, I just relocated your kneecap, so stop yelling. AND YOU’RE WELCOME! Look I'm leaving before it gets bad around here. I'm leaving you an energy shield that will last you a short time. To be exact, sixty seconds when she gets the minigun working. See you tomorrow if you survive.” Then the old man got up and left West. The possibly dramatic pulled out a lipstick container and opened it a little. She proceeded to use some on herself. West used the opportunity to get up on his crippled leg and draw his weapon. Then the possibly dramatic one took the lipstick and attached it to the front of the box. As soon as she did that eight barrels came out. She then lifted the mini gun and fired immediately at the barrier. The energy started catching bullets, West started to run towards the girls, then the energy gave way. And then at a moment's notice he was in front of her with the look of a thousand armies' rage.
